In 1973. Civil and Defence Housing
Civil and Defence Housing Society Lahore was raised in 1973.
In 1975. LCCHS
It was renamed as Lahore Cantonment Co-Operative Housing Society (LCCHS) and was registered with Punjab Government in March 1975.
In 1999. converted to DHA Lahore
Lahore High Court entrusted all its powers to Commander Lahore Corps In 1991. The society was s subsequently converted to DHA Lahore in 1999 through a Provincial Ordinance.
In 2002. DHA federalized
DHA was federalized in 2002, which was validated by the Parliament in 2004.

DHA Medical City
It is a great honor and pride for DHA Lahore to have the presence of COAS Gen Raheel Sharif, NI (M) to inaugurate DHA Medical City on Friday, 18th of November 2016. DHA medical city Lahore is Pakistan’s largest hospital in the private sector offering World- class health ,located in the Phase VIII sector S, consists of 356 kanal. The project comprises of a medical college,dental college and a nursing college with the facility of hostels . It is fully equipped state of the art 600 bed hospital. It has a spacious parking spaces, provides a serene environment surrounded with plantation and water features including lake and a fountain. There will be a central mosque & commercial area within the premises of the hospital.
