CLUB RULES & REGULATIONS

Addition of Immediate Family Member

The addition of a second wife under the membership is subject to the clearance of membership interview and to the submission of necessary documents (Marriage certificate/CNIC with husband’s name and photograph). In case of the addition of a child, the member will have to submit the B-form and photograph of the child.

Transfer Policy

Individual category membership is saleable/ transferrable while Corporate category membership is transferrable.

Individual Membership Transfer Policy

If a member wants to transfer his/her membership to his/her spouse or children, 1% of the prevailing membership fee will be charged as the transfer fee.

10% of the prevailing membership fee is charged as the transfer fee while transferring the membership to anyone other than wife and children. The selection of these transfer cases is subject to the clearance of the membership interview and the clearance of all the outstanding dues.

Corporate Membership Transfer Policy

If the company wants to replace its nominee, then the signatory will have to provide a letter stating the change of nominee along with the membership form of the new nominee.

10% of the prevailing membership fee is charged as the transfer fee while replacing the nominee. The selection of the transfer cases is subject to the clearance of the membership interview.

Suspension & Termination Policy (Individual & Corporate Membership Category)

2% late payment charges will be imposed on outstanding membership installments after 14 days of the due date and his/her membership will be suspended through suspension notice. The suspension will only clear after a member pays all his/her dues along with late fee charges, monthly subs of the suspended period, and reinstatement charges of Rs. 25,000.

Membership shall be terminated two months after the suspension date. After the termination, new membership will be purchased on the prevailing membership fee. In the case of termination, the membership shall only be reinstated by the special approval of the Management on the same membership fee. The member will have to clear the outstanding dues and late payment charges in a lump sum that was charged during the termination period.

Change of Address (Individual and Corporate Membership Category)

In case of a change of address and contact number, the member will have to inform the Membership Office immediately. If the member does not inform about the address change and contact number then he/she will be responsible for the payment of the dues billed during the address change time.

Member’s Guest Policy (Individual and Corporate Membership Category)

Members’ guests will be allowed to come to the club with the members only.

Club Dress Code Policy (Individual and Corporate Membership Category)

The club is run under set rules and dress codes. Nonadherence to the rules/ dress code will ban the members from entering the premises or a particular facility.

Club Installment/Monthly Subscription Fee Tax Deduction Certificate Policy

Members who pay their installments and subscription fee after deducting the tax shall provide the tax deduction certificate along with the payment. Otherwise, the tax will not be adjusted in their payments.

Members can pay their installments and subscription fee through credit card. 2% service charges will be charged at the time of transaction.

Club Monthly Subscription Payment Policy (Individual and Corporate Membership Category)

The member gets a 10% discount on the advance payment of one year’s subscription fee and a 5% discount on the payment of 6 Months’ subscription fee. In the case of an increase in the subscription fee, the member will have to pay the difference of the amount paid against the advance subscription fee.

If the member fails to pay the monthly subscription charges/fee within 30 days of the billing, 2% late payment charges will be charged. The membership shall not freeze for any specific time period. The member has to pay the monthly subscription fee whether he/she is using Club facilities or not.

Revision of Age Limit Policy for Dependent Wards of DRGCC Members

DRGCC has decided to revise the age limit for dependent children. The details of the revised age limit are as below:

1.Sons
Category 1  (Dependent)Up to the age of 21 years old.
Category 2  (Semi Dependent)From the age of 21 to 26 years old, membership may be continued by depositing an extension fee of Rs. 100,000/ ward.
Category 3  (Independent)Above 26 years old, Independent membership may be continued with the applicable membership fee of Rs. 1,000,000. Maximum two wards of a member may avail the facility. Should one of the wards get married, he has to pay the difference of the prevailing membership fee and subsequently receive the regular membership for himself and his family.
b. Daughters
Up to the age of 26 years/ marriage (whichever is earlier). In the case of dependent/ unmarried daughters beyond the age of 26, the decision is to be made on a case to case basis, upon the member’s request. If the dependent daughter gets married then the member has to inform the Membership Office.
If he/she does not inform and the said daughter is using the Club facilities and the Management finds out about it then Defence Raya Golf & Country Club will exercise the right to suspend the membership of the principal member for 1 month.
